Yeah, I kinda screwed up in my last game trying to take out the bugs in the Drassen mine. I'm starting again, keeping the sci-fi mode on. I found the queen alien, in the lowest level of the mine, seems to only take damage from explosives. Guess this time around I'm going to equip everyone in the squad with M79s and hand grenades. Problem is I think I only came across 3 m79s and you can't order them on bud's gun shop. Any tips on the whole thing in general would be great.

IIRC mustard gas works like a charm. The fat beotch can't escape from the toxic gas. But be warned in my last game with crepitus, it took 4 mustard gas grenades to kill it.

I remember that there was a tile right behind the fat queen where her tentacles cannot hit you; so i punched her to death. Razz

(But might have been 1.13 and not vanilla, though)

Rockets and Mustard Gas are great for the Queen. There is a spot when your out of range of her and you can blast and chuck grenades. With the Mustard gas just wait until she dies.

Hacking your way there hollow point ammo is the way to go, but as stated before grenades are good to have.
