If it is not just me (corupted download or something) then you included a wrong german.items.xml in the data-1.13 path. It just contains ID's up to 300-something, leaving quite a lot of items in game with english description or none at all.

Thanks. Indeed, there is the wrong German.Items.xml file included. I just uploaded a bugfix package for the German 1.13 version to the 1.13 WIKI.

It works with old saves, my current game had the frozen MERC roster before I installed patch, an in game day afterwards Larry showed up for hire.

Hi, and thank you vm for this great mod I'm bout to play.
However there is one thing.. as I try to d/l the bugfix, Norton blocks it and identifies it as a threat. I d/l the one from the FTP server and the same happens.

Any help?

Ok thank you, btw, u know how to play it on full screen? I switch it to 1024x768 however it's filling only 2/3 of my screen. Thank you again Smile

Switching from window to fullscreen is done either manually in ja2.ini or with help of the ini-editor (that is located in your installation folder).

If you are not talking about windowed mode but rather that you are seeing a "black frame" around the game in fullscreen: that's probably got to do with your graphic's driver; you'd need to adjust scaling to allow "stretching" picture to fill full screen.

I suggest using the INI editor to start the game in windowed mode, because it automatically switches your windows desktop to 16 bit before starting the ja2 1.13 executable. It also switches back to the default setting, once you quite the game.

so no need to manually adjust the color depth if you want to play in windowed mode Wink

Yo, Rowa, dunno if it has already been reported somewhere else, so i report here:

Seems as if the Bugfix "imported" the Bug to the reinforcements (known from newer unstable versions): Reinforcements do not come in to replace fallen enemies one after another as it used to be, but rather reinforcements do not appear at all until realtime kicks in after the last enemy has been killed.
(Playtesting AR-mod with 4870 +update)

Another nuisance (that i thought had been fixed before) reappeared with the bugfix:
[1.13 4870 + bugfix (+ fix german item.xml) + Arulco Revisited 1.2]

When meeting Devin for the first time in San Mona C5 (day 5, progress: 20720) his inventory is completely empty; he offers Nada for sale.

Devin uses BR setting = true
BR = fantastic
progression speed = normal
tons of guns
Sci-Fi

A really minor thing I noticed, the 4870 bugfix still has a bug that's been around forever where Ira giving Father Walker wine doesn't trigger his drunk dialogue. This bug *is* fixed in the SCI_Unstable_Revision_6077_on_GameDir_1676.7z though.
