That's one of the other kickstarters I've backed, it seems to have come on a long way since it was funded too, looks a better game now than the one I backed Cool

Looks like a nice base and character system. Ideas for JA flashback, maybe. Definitely seems to have interesting squad relationship elements. Would have preferred it turn-based, but well... I've been hooked to 2 games only for so many years now... Both turn-based. Guess I got a bit stuck or fixated Razz (The other one is more an ancient war game with RPG elements, completely different - Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII - would like to have some coding done on that too, but well..).

But thinking of backing this one up as well... Smile

Definitely a good surprise.
I backed it too, when it was a very vague project by a very young team with a very low budget, but they did a great job along the way, and their game shows promisong features.
I love the freedom, the base building, the team management, crafting, how equipment shows on the characters and the vehicles.
I hope it will be polished in the end, to make a nice gaming experience.

I've mentioned this in the news when they launched the KS because to me it bears a striking resemblance to "The Fall: Last Days of Gaia". Same post-apoc feeling at least. Hope they make a nice game, albeit they didn't get the Atomic Squirrel stretch goal... oh well...

Aha! well, I'll still back it via paypal... If others do so as well, who knows about reaching stretch goals... (Well, I don't exactly know how all that stuff works maybe too late know, but we'll see, I guess).

Apparently they wasted all the money first on trying stuff that didn't work (april 2014). Latest KS update says they recovered somehow and development will continue (sept 2014).

They used 60% of the funds (70k) for "hiring staff", but in all truth there were only 2 dudes and 1 girl behind it. So they paid themselves a nice fat salary and then called it quits. Apparently $120k isn't enough to buy a couple of Unity licenses (quote from a dev) and support a team of 3 working from China.

Interesting.
