Believe me, it's all we want. Just look at the amount of forums we have for "ghost" games that never quite made it.

If JAF is the JA we've been waiting for it will get more than one forum. Let's see how KS goes.

PS: I like a lot that FC is considering talking to Ian Currie. Hope he will be interested and open minded. I know he wished he had KS back in the days when Sir-tech was ripped off by publishers.

FC you should set up "stretch goals" picture on kickstarter asap. It would attract more backers.

Yeah, I'm not used to the idea of throwing money up front to a game that doesnt yet exist. I'm kind of leary of it. But if this is the one we been waiting for all these years then maybe it will become my first KS endeavor. I want to believe but I dunno...

Threw $25 bucks into the project.

Please make a better pitch and clear goals. You might also want implement this "transparency policy" and show clearly the stretch goals.

I also back up the fact that liveful colors, humor, RPG-elements and voice acting among others are extremely valuable elements for a JA-game. BiA didn't have any personality and was generally very pale, in contrast to JA2.

Kudos to you and hopefully you succeed.

yeah i only pledged $75 to get to the beta, would love alpha access but 250$ is beyond what i can possibly spend.

As I recall from other KS projects, the Paypal money are not considered for reaching the goal ($350.000 in this case). Thus if KS has $200.000 pledged, and Paypal has $200.000 pledged as well, the Kickstarter project has failed to meet its goal. That is not something Full Control has control over, it's a KS requirement.
Usually though, the Paypal money is counted towards stretch goals.

So if Kickstarter fails, it still could be possible that enough income is present?
I am totaly new with this kickstarter thingy, but in my opinion there could be a better transparency with the paypal income, like an daily update about the donations. :/

No, if KS fails that share goes back to the supporters, so in JMich's example you then only have the 200k from paypal.
