Well, I'm glad it got funded. The diorama really shook my confidence, but now they have a good long time to show me what they've really got instead of something cooked up overnight to pander to the fan demands.
What I'd like to see is a couple of first-approximation merc portraits. We've known since Day 1 that Ivan and Shadow were going to be in the game. Even if Jesper is the most incompetent and tortoise-like artist to ever hold a pencil in his trembling hand (and of course he is not), he could have come up with a sketch or two in that time. But I didn't ask for it, so I've got no kick coming.
I'm really concerned about the aesthetic of this game, though. As Ian Currie said in his interview, the atmosphere, the feeling that you're going to enjoy spending a lot of hours playing this thing, is of vital importance. I do not want to feel like I'm playing with a bunch of plastic soldiers. One of the nice things about JA2 was that you knew who was who just by what they were wearing. That is one of the things that make it a game, not a simulation.

I have a question, because the total amount actualy in the last 4 hrs after the kickstarter was funded is not realy getting higher, it seems a lot people are minimize her pledges, bec. its funded..
What would happen if 10sec before the Kickstarter end, the 10.000$ pledger removes his pledge, and the total amount will fall bellow 350.000$....
(like our radio guy, he hold his radio pledge the whole campaign, then it was fundet and the pledge was free again...)
I don't want to be pessimist, but there are a lot strange guys out there, and i allways expect everything.... so is that possible?! I have not realy a clue from this kickstarter thingy at all, but that would be more then a nightmare..

Quote Grunty: "I am elated!"
Congrats Full Control, now go get yourself properly hammered (provide video of the event if possible  ), then recuperate some days, because NOW the pressure is on to deliver! :taskmaster:
And you know you will have to work under very tight scrutiny of us here and we expect you to deliver some more concrete material ASAP, where the Kickstarter already lacked severely in these regards.
So you better not even think about taking chances of giving us second guesses about having put our hope and faith (and money) into the right people for the job! :nono:
The community expects very close and extensive in depth communication about the progress of the developement process right from the start. So the documentation and coverage of pretty much everything you do from now on will be as important as the making of the game itself. :newstuff:
So, Javier, go get a proper rest and then get that graphics tablet smoking! Everyone expects you to deliver your best work yet, to recapture the magic of the classical JA style and transfer it into the 21st century and an additional dimension.
We Bearspitters are quite a patient lot, but you got us all hyped up and excited, so it
