I'm tired of my squad following in column formation in real-time. I want some kind of formation feature seen in the Arma Series, if it is not much to ask. Here are some examples:

Yeah this has been an often mentioned wish/dream around here.
I don't know about feasibility, but since it has been wished for in the past to no result yet, I've come to think it wouldn't be easy to do ...

I'd love to see just 3 ... line, line abreast, then any kind of staggering line or wedge.

I just think that with all the extra pathing calculations and having to calc. all the items to go around on a map etc its not likely to happen unless someone who likes pathing AI stuff happens to join the coding team.

Likely there are also major problems with doing such a thing and not rewriting half the tactical source code.
