Hi all.

I've not been active here for quite some time because RL takes up more and more time. The good ol' days where I could spend several hours per week or maybe even per day on playing and modding are long gone. Sad

However, this project is not dead. Whenever I find the time, I work on it a bit, and so, I'm steadily building on an improved version. Right now, v1.5 is about 50% done on my hdd.

I read, that there will eventually be a new stable release of v1.13 somewhere in 2014.
I will definitely try to make AR fully compatible with this new release, once it's content is defined, which will be by 2014, as far as I understood.

Until then, I will try to drop in here more frequently, so if there are any questions, tips or whatever - just post.

1st goal is -as always- to improve balancing and to fix bugs

2nd goal is to support more features (actually, to support all features that will make it into the upcoming stable rel.)

3rd goal is to "do something about the weapons" (phrased very vaguely on purpose)

I look forward to your work, and since time is always a factor, I hope you and Strohman can work out something since I know he likes your mod a lot. Some load sharing often can improve things.

@JAsmine: various questions:

yesterday I tryed AR 1.4 but...please don't get offended I did not like new music :headbanger: May we get some metal/progressive soundtrack :rulez:

As fot 1.5 to come, shall we expect

1) more mercenaries (AIM and MERC)
2) more quests
3) more NPC, even hireable ones?

Also, AR 1.4 and 1.5 are gonna be compatible (if they already aren't) with AIMNAS?

Arulco Revisited is my favorite mod with new sectors because it's nearly perfectly balanced. In some other mods there is just too much shi... I mean stuff Wink But I have just one tiny problem with AR - I always have to change Bobby's Rays dropship to Drassen. That's because I like buying weird stuff from it and play how I like it. So this is my one request - if it's possible to add a possibility to easy change dropship to Drassen. Thanks!

you can have multiple shipping destinations. just add drassen to the appropriate file. did that myself some time ago when i played the mod. i like to establish supply lines so i needed bobby ray Very Happy

Hi. I used to play this mod before with reversion 4870. The only problem is... Now that I'm using unstable builds, I'm gonna miss this mod, since AR v1.4 doesn't support the latest builds. Crying or Very Sad


Anyways, good luck on the making of AR v1.5! Wink

There are some compatibility patches floating around. They should be in the 1.13 Stock Data Overhaul thread. Might make Revisited work with the latest unstables. Smile
