Hi, I would like to ask how could I port AFS items and mechanics on top of latest SVN. Im not interested in any other feature of AFS like army composition, uniform colors, map changes or any other stuff like that.
With files would I need to merge/edit?

You'll have to copy a bunch of .xml files. Everything in Data-AFS/Tabledata/Items to begin with, then check the other .xml files for compatibility (i.e. Facegear.xml, probably a couple of things in /Lookup, /Inventory).
Not a big deal, but the huge problem is going to be getting any maps to work with that without a whole bunch of NADAs popping up, getting some really weird stuff (which is worse than NADAs since it can upset the balance to the point of it being game-breaking. getting a multi-shot grenade launcher in place of a t-shirt, for example), and living exclusively off of enemy drops (which, on the other hand, can be fun). Been trying to figure out a way to do that quickly with a text/hex editor editing the map files directly, but the most reliable way to do it still seems to be firing up the map editor and changing the items one by one by hand. Still not all that hard, but takes a hell of a lot of time.
