I feel really incompetent to have to post a thread to ask this. I distinctly remember SEEING someone name the hotkey to do this with v1.13. I even did it with my merc.

Now I cannot find the post with this hotkey listed, nor can I figure it out by trial and error.

Thought it was

SHIFT + J

but nope. Nothing.

Do you have to shoot the window out first or something?

Shift + j works fine for latest dev. release/ stable 2014 release.

And check that there is nothing behind the window like a chair or table.

And check that you do not wear a backpack.

And the options in .ini are turned on:

CAN_JUMP_THROUGH_WINDOWS = TRUE
CAN_JUMP_THROUGH_CLOSED_WINDOWS = TRUE

You may have to break the window in the old 4870 release, currently you'll do that automatically but get scratched a bit.

Thanks guys. I think that this must be what my problem is.

Definitely facing it; no backpacks; no stuff in the way. Hit Shift-J . . . "Path Blocked."

Fire a round through it = can jump right through.

Strange that I have an older build cause I only downloaded and installed a week or two ago.
