Hi, i am new here and i did not found right topic when i can reveal this conception. So if admin wants to move this topic, do it. I wonder if anyone here was thinking about this. If yes, please sorry. I did not read all the forum. But i think about this many years.
But i want to present this conception because i am not capable to create such game on my own. I can make only 3d objects /i know 3d modeling texturing 3ds max, wings 3d etc./. So maybe is there someone who can do it.
My conception is really simple. I wonder if it possible to combine some things from Ja2 with Ja BIa /Like 3d, change clothes, weapons that you really see on the monitor/ but ignore the mercenaries.

No AIM, no mercs /but this is not condition/, but every player had own army. Its like in JA2 militia vs Deidranna

So your concept for JA3 is to replace our endearingly quirky/crazy mercs with faceless mook armies?

Probably yes, but it is not condition.

Maybe "endearingly quirky/crazy mercs" can stay as special units. Or team leaders. When I played JA BIA there almost all mercs looks similar. Like clones. So there is no problem with cloned mook armies especially when you can upgrade stats of your individual soldiers, equipment and when you can control them.

But this radical conception that changes all game.

No problem? Mercs looking like cloned crap was one of the biggest gripes people had about ShitComposers attempt.

I consider big battles with 40 vs 40 soldiers where you have control over all 40 units more joyful and realistic than 6 mercs against 40 enemy.

There's already a testing platform to try out whether big battles is to your liking.

You have to use the latest DBrot's SCI (Single-click Installer) which can be found either by DepressiveBrot's signature or at the header section on the main forum page.

If maps are then perceived to be a limiting enjoyment factor, you can easily bootstrap with 2013 AIMNAS XMAS release.

You can help Ja2 community if you can rigged out some 3d models.

A good starting point will be the current 3 combat bodytypes (normal male, big male & female) using 3d software, preferably on free ones like Blender. They can then be subsequently used as a base to create all sorts of animations.
