I've changed the weapons available to enemies in the XML editor and now all the enemies are dropping are Glock 17's, which is not one of the weapons I've made available to them. Anyone know what I did wrong?

I've set the "soldierclass_" line in the ini to False so that I don't have to edit the different class XML's., using 6967.

Glock 17 is the default handgun 'if everything else fails'. Whatever you did, if the game tries to select guns for enemies it cannot find a single one, so skips to GLOCK 17 as a last resort.

Try using the standard xml and then gradually replace the choices. The gun selection is fiddly, is could be as simple as the number of choices being incorrect.

Fixed it!

Turns out setting items to coolness 0 was the culprit... Embarrassed
