I'm making a PDW stock with the XML Editor.

Basically it would attach to machine pistols and give some small bonuses at the cost of a higher ready AP.

What I'm playing with now

-100% to weapon ready AP reduction (This should double the AP cost, if I'm not mistaken)

5% Range bonus
10% General to hit
10% Burst and Auto bonus.

Would apply to:

MP5K
Whatever the pistol Calico is
CMMG 7.3 (and the other pistol AR)
TMP
Whatever other machine pistols I come across that have real world stock variation.

Other things I'm toying with:

No bonus to range and a more substantial bonus for "general to hit". Maybe in the 25-30%. Possibly 50%?

This is coming from real world experience with MP5 variants. I can't say for the difference with ARs as I've never shot an AR pistol. I do however have a fair amount of trigger time with MP5 variants. Shooting a K is a PITA. You pretty much have to use the sling to stabilize the weapon in order to get rounds on target. Not to mention auto, which is damn near unmanageable. Throw a stock on it (MP5K-PDW) and its tame in comparison. Firing a K on auto, at 10m, you'd be pushing it to get more than a 5 round burst in the black on a silhouette target. Whereas with a with an MP5N its not too much of a challenge to cyclic a full 30 rounds into the black. A PDW would be a little more... peppy... than the N due to the lower mass and higher rate of fire, but I don't believe it would be all that far off.

Now the real question is: How do I translate that into XML speak usefully, without screwing up the balance?

Now questions, considering this is my first time messing with XMLE.

If I make the stock "two handed" will that make the weapon two handed in turn, when attached?

I was being lazy and duplicated the Folding Stock. After changing the appropriate parts of the new item, it still listed all the weapons the folding stock would work with.
How do I delete them from the list? Or is it just a glitch in the matrix, so to speak, that will work itself out after saving?

Please let me know what you think. Suggestions on stats are welcome too.
