OK, so I'm tinkering around with disabilities, and there's psycho. I feel like its potential is wasted in game.

"Psychotic" - sometimes go full auto, if you can't - negligible morale hit. Compare it with IMP analysis, where psychos get paragraph about torturing frogs, mental institutions and "time for your medicine". Now, there's a bunch of characters who are obviously psychos or at least deranged, but have no strong automatic weapons lean - like Razor & Reuban - the knife/gardening tools nuts, or Skitz - the explosive expert with horrible marksmanship.

So my idea is to add few more features to disabilities, problem is how to distribute them among. Note that being limited to one disability per merc is no longer an issue.

Variant 1
Current "Psychotic" - no changes.
"Lunatic" - new disability centered around random flip outs, going berserk, freaking locals out, murdering unliked mercs, and other pleasant activities.
Buzz: Psychotic & Lunatic, Maddog: Psychotic & Lunatic, Haywire: Psychotic, Razor: Lunatic, Skitz: Lunatic
+ no tampering with original disability
- "Psycho" is not psycho enough

Variant 2
Current "Psychotic" - keep full auto aspect, add random flip outs, going berserk, freaking locals out, murdering unliked mercs, etc.
Buzz: Psychotic, Maddog: Psychotic, Haywire: Psychotic, Razor: Psychotic, Skitz: Psychotic
- adds a lot of stuff to existing disability
- together drawbacks might be too heavy, especially for IMPs

Variant 3
Current "Psychotic" - rename to "Trigger Happy", no other changes
(Variant 3B) Current "Psychotic" - rename to "Trigger Happy", keep full auto effect but also add small possiblity that merc will shoot even if not ordered to as soon as enemy gets in the field of view. Possibly even at civvies if heavily suppressed or scared.
New proper "Psychotic" - new disability centered around random flip outs, going berserk, freaking locals out, murdering unliked mercs, etc.
Buzz: Trigger Happy & Psychotic, Maddog: Trigger Happy & Psychotic, Haywire: Trigger Happy, Razor: Psychotic, Skitz: Psychotic
+ Psychotic "Psycho"
+ "Trigger Happy" properly describes its effects
- renamed original disability

I'd think Variant 1 and 3 are the better choices, I'd probably go with 3 since a Lunatic normally follows cycles, and it avoids having a double strength disability like #2.

True psychos should at least be able to gut humans. Raise their own morale while grossing every non-psycho out. Very Happy
