As a big Wildfire Veteran 1.13 is way too easy for me and so i decided to cancel my experienced difficulty game and start a new one in impossible diificulty. What do you guys usually play on?

I like playing on Expert difficulty. (slightly challenging, but not too overwhelming, unlike INSANE difficulty)

I mostly play on experienced and then crank up the number of enemy soldiers in the ini. I do this because at higher difficulty levels the enemy melee chance-to-hit is increased and I dont like that. Actually I don't even know if that's still true, but I read it in http://ja2v113.pbworks.com/w/page/4218323/%22How%20does%20it%20work%22%20Part%205%3A%20Melee%20Combat%20Chance-to-Hit

Expert. Elites drop more interesting loot.

I usually go for "expert" with several tweaked settings, what I can think of right now is:

- slightly reduced extra elites (20%)
- no magical damage resistance for elites (not for elite milita either)
- queen has unlimited troops = true
- no mine will go empty (don't like to be pressed too hard by financials)
- enemy spies/assassins disabled

On "expert" all counterattacks are enabled, so if you like to play with (semi) iron-man-mode, that's gonna be difficult. The occasional save-scumming is part of the deal here ^^

On the other hand, I wonder how far you'll get with iron man anyway, even on lower difficulty levels. It happens all the time that an impossibly lucky shot kills important mercs with one hit or something really bad happens (enemy calls in artillery strike, 3/4 squad down). I guess you really have to rely on your merc's death quota tolerance then :grimreaper:

a very handicapted (me) insane but taking her majesty serious (well very serious) when she complaints her financial losses after a mine was taken

Several levels of nonsense, e.g. dismiss Grunty and hire him 2 month later: he will bring a genial piece of German Engineering which magically doubles the mineoutput.

atm I'm only testing and have therefore the mine at 1.000%

btw. in the file is written that You can tweak it to much more but You get an error at gamestart if higher than 1.000%

INSANE with a heavy penalty on enemy accuracy as well as some moderate changes to CTH (less emphasis on level [tho its still there], more emphasis on stats), higher mine income, higher suppression levels, Militia taking items from what's in the sector vs spawning with their own weapons, and some other stuff to maximize the micromanagement!
