"Another salient feature of the MSG90 is the push-pinned trigger housing. By first removing the stock, the shooter can quickly replace the semi-automatic trigger group and housing with a unit that facilitates fully-automatic firing. Essentially, the MSG90 differs from the the PSG1 in its ability to be deployed as a support weapon. Of course, it is not as ideal in this role as is a more dedicated weapon like the 21E, which is equipped with a belt-feed mechanism and a quick-change barrel. Nonetheless, the search for faster follow-up shots ends here.
In short, the MSG90 is a multi-purpose weapon that offers an unparalleled balance of precision and firepower. Other G3 variants, including the PSG1, are more application-specific for various reasons. The PSG1's size and weight certainly enhance its astounding accuracy at distances previously deemed beyond the capabilities of a semi-automatic rifle, but these attributes have an inverse affect on mobility. The MSG90, on the other hand, sacrifices neither accuracy nor mobility at normal engagement ranges in, say, an urban environment. Even a fully-automatic G3 or 21E can be fitted with quality optics, but battle rifles and machine guns (like their users) are perhaps best confined to their intended roles. The idea behind the MSG90 is that it transcends these boundaries while providing law enforcement and military units with the utmost in tactical flexibility."

Out of curiosity what is the timeframe for added weapons in game? Don't see too many striker fired autoloaders, what about a few newish models like SIG P320 series, Walther PPQ CZ P10 maybe?

Now here's a completely stupid idea. Absolutely deranged, more like.
The sledgehammer. What if you could use it to just bust items up? Just in case you REALLY want to be able to sell something to Jake but your gear's too good. Good condition? We can fix that!
He only deals in junk, if you know what I mean.

Not even sure you can do something like this... but you know. big grin

The cleaning kits at least in early 1.13 UC, as well as the screwdrivers in iirc BtB
could magically improve or degrade a weapons condition,
(quite a surprise to find that out the hard way
by using the highlighted tool in bad condition on the just repaired gun, just out of curiosity
;),
i.e. on use of the kit the condition of both items became the average of ((condition A) + (condition B))/2.
so I guess it may be already doable by adding the specific property/flag to all desired items?

As a sidenote, playing usually on insane with 15k & increased profile costs, etc
I would have to be quite desperate to do that,
assuming I would not stay away from selling any items in a war zone which potentially fuel more violence.

"The G3SG/1 is a sniper rifle based on the G3. It consists of a full size G3 that has been handpicked for accuracy. A special trigger group, bipod, chiekpiece and 1.5-6x scope have been fitted. The intricate G3SG/1 trigger group has a button to set the trigger just behind the trigger itself. It is one of the best designed trigger groups to this day and still allows for automatic fire."

"The HK 33SG/1 is a similar sniper development of the HK 33 as the G3SG/1 is of the G3. Most of the rifle is similar to the full size HK 33. The barrels are handpicked for accuracy, a cheekpiece and bipod are fitted and a 1.5-6x Zeiss or Schmidt & Bender scope was fitted as standard. The trigger group is replaced by a set trigger group that allows for semi automatic and full automatic fire. In semi automatic fire a button behind the can set the trigger for a very light and crisp trigger pull."

I just got back into JA2 AIMNAS, after a long while away, and after tinkering with the starting-gear XML for a while, I've found there's something missing in terms of baseline gear: plain fatigue-style clothing, like the solid-colour uniforms worn in WW2 and Vietnam. Their value as actual armour should be minimal (although fatigue tunics could be combined with body-armour vests as normal), and each piece would provide less camo to the appropriate terrain (olive-drab for woodland or jungle, beige for desert, black for urban or night) than the appropriate camo uniform (currently woodland/desert camo tunics are 18% and pants 12% -- perhaps make fatigues 9% and 6%?). Each set would be a baseball cap, a tunic, and a set of trousers, making 8 base items that would need art and tabledata (AIMNAS already has a black baseball cap, as of the 8796 release, and that could be a good starting point). They wouldn't offer much tactical advantage, but it'd be a godsend in terms of providing options to modders and starting gear-choices for the... cheaper recruits offered by smaller operators (*kof* M.E.R.C. *kof*). angel

For that matter, refreshed art for the jeans would be wonderful; the current pictures look more like urban-camo BDUs (and indeed could be recycled to portray a cheaper version of Urban BDU Pants with lower stats). happy

Another quick item request: the Steyr MPi-69 and/or the Steyr MPi-81. Both were taken off the market in 1990 when the Steyr TMP came along, but they'd make nice 'historical leftover' weapons. And while I know some might ask if the game really needs another couple of Uzi-lookalikes... well, does it really need all those Kalashnikov-derivatives, either?

References:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr_MPi_69
https://modernfirearms.net/en/submachine-guns/austria-submachine-guns/steyr-mpi-69-eng/

(Note that the MPi-81 has a 'firing port' version, featuring an extended barrel and Steyr-AUG optics, which could make a nice 'unique' weapon for certain mercs, RPCs, or NPCs.)

As something of a nod of the head to recent events, I'd like to request the Fort-12 semi-automatic pistol. It holds a 12-round magazine of either 9x18mm Makarov or (in the Fort-12 Curz model) .380ACP, which are both pistol-cartridges that are a little under-represented in the game at the moment.

That's just about every weapon in the world. Back in 1998, i was happy when i got my hands on a Mini 14. It was great help until weapons with longer ranges started appearing. Steyr AUG, M16, M14,FN FAL, M24 and Dragunov. That was already a great selection to choose from and it made you appreciate the new weapon that you've just got.

In !.13, yes, there is a great selection of weapons, which makes choice a bit more complicated. But trying to include every weapon and caliber in the world, really ruins the appetite. Pan Metron Ariston.
