Windows 8

happened a half dozen times now

if i have the game running, click off to do something else, it locks up...

is there some debug i can provide?

edit: it appears to not fully lock up the client with some further clicking... You cant move any mercs.... i can go to the strat view but cannot move the squad anywhere and "time" doesnt move a minute no matter how fast i set the clock.

Must be Windows 8 related or specific to your installation. I run the game in windowed mode all the time to test and debug on Windows 7 without any issues. That means I can't help to debug this problem.

Did you try the Windows 8 fixes in the "Docs\Windows Compatibility Fixes" directory?

Hey silver!

yes, i am running in XP3 compatibility mode, and i have installed the 3 WINE files into the main directory.

I have a frozen client right now.... i can click on some buttons but nothing happens. time is stuck, no matter what i set the multiplier to.

when i go to the tactical screen, i cannot move anyone.
