I have set att "Militia Equipment Settings" to true. Except for the last one about taboos.

Still.
All of my militia is unarmed in a fight.
There are plenty of sector inverntory weapons, but they are not in use.

I found it out.
There is a JA2_Options.ini in both Data and Data-1.13 folder.

It seems that both files need to be changed.

It depends on what you are playing. Data folder is for vanilla Ja2. Data-1.13 is for Ja2 1.13. If you play the latter you need to change Ja2_Options.ini in Data-1.13 folder. The other ini can be left unchanged.

Yes. That is what I thought. So this seems a bit strange.

I am playing 1.13.
I did do the changes in data-1.13
But the changes did not take effect.

Until I also changed in vanilla DATA.

Does this mean that I am actually plaing vanilla? Although it says 1.13 in the loading screen?
I will have to investigate this further.

If you want to play vanilla you need to modify Ja2.ini and comment the "VFS_CONFIG_INI" line for 1.13 and un-comment the line for vanilla. The default should be 1.13 no matter if you downloaded the 7609 version or the latest SCI.
