I tried to put some barricades (before that i filed bags by sand), got string: "The selected barricade cannot be built in this sector".
Okay, i tried to put this on in most close to Drassen sectors: swamps, forests, farms - always getting this.
Maybe barricades don't work? I bought Concertina stack and tried this - same result.

Maybe I set wrong setting in JA2_Options.ini I said, checked this - nothing found (my skill of detective is bad?).

The question is: "How can I build barricades in v1.13 7898 or it's work (or not?) only in new 7917?"

P.S Thx silversurfer for previous answer. I don't like to spam "thx" massages, so I just press +1 button. I will do same thing here too.

I'm sorry for my english. It's not my language and I never learn studied it. Games and translator were my teachers. Don't blame me hard, I'm always like to get corrected.

Due to technical reasons, if there are no sandbags, wires, etc in the original map, it is unlikely that you can build them.
They have to be present in the tileset which the map uses.

Just a random mind: If I open original map in mapeditor, add one of needed in conor of map (which will not change any balance) and will save this - is it will start to work?
Or you mean original vanilla map, which means that I can not add any of this (sandbags, wires, etc... ) in editor too?

That is rather complicated. Basically, any map has a set of things (walls, trees, doors, rocks, sandbags) it knows. These slots are rather limited. If you tell a map that does not know sandbags to add a sandbag it will either crash the game or grab a structure from somewhere else and use that - so instead of sandbags, you would be placing parts of a cliff, or the shadow of a tree, or other weird stuff.

Making a set, like sandbags, known to a map is surprisingly difficult, and is a very easy way to cause weirdness in maps - the problem is that the number of sets is very limited. Adding a new set requires replacing an old one, which gets hairy really fast.

"Is there any way to get the blood to flow up the walls?"
"I don't see why not."

If you want, you can donate to me. This will not affect how and what I code, and I will not code specific features in return. I will be thankful though.

Went ahead and done the tileset modification a while back myself just so I can use the sandbags and barbed wires, if you wish I can PM you the files, the only downside is that you 'sacrifice' one truck in that cabin south of chitzena (through which no one passes), I say it's worth it. By sacrifice I mean its replaced with one sandbag.

Been playing with it for a while and it's damn fun entrenching myself against those huge attacks, of course as long as you don't abuse it.

No, thxs. I prefer use official releases and fixes, not because I'm not sure in others, just because it's tested or if it's bugged - it will be fixed soon. In this case it's can make some troubles wich I should fix by myself.
Another way: if it's works really good you can post it fully for others too. All will look and test it. Maybe somebody will get it too.
