So, I was thinking. Is it posible to make the skills, traits and background of a mercenary to dictate how effective the militia is? When you train militia, you pass down the skills you learned from you to them. Which, logicly, would mean that the militia should be as effective a fighter as you would. Right now, the only thing that dictates how effective the militia is your Leadership score. So that means, that mercs like Biff or Flo train militia effectively. Which I find silly. How can those two train an effective fighting force, when they suck themselves?

Now say the militia is trained by some supreme mercs, like Gus or Shadow. Obviously, since they are so expierienced and skilled, the militia should be highly skilled.

What do you think, gentlemen ?

Take a look at the ini settings regarding militia training. There are settings that control the quantity (meaning worse trainers will get fewer militia per training session) as well as the quality (better trainers can train militia of higher class or something like that). Additionally, worse trainers, like Flo and Biff, cannot train until they reach the minimum LDR requirement. Also, as they generate less training points, they need more time to train compared to more better trainers.

Having individual militia have stats depending on who trained them is currently impossible, as no such data can be stored for militia. There are ideas to change that, but for now, not possible. It would also lead to a problem - we can change who trains all the time, and have many trainers... urgs.
