I have 1.13 4870 and the game crashes when I try to enter certain sectors (Cambria sector above the mine, and chitzena mine) The game gives an error saying game files are missing and crashes to windows. It seems like these sectors are just corrupted. I put 20 hours in the playthrough and now I can't retake cambria.
I tried to upload the save file but it says file too large? I can e-mail it to anyone

Damn, last time I heard about 4870 was when I just started JA2, I bought Wildfire on steam thinking it would be just as moddable, turns out not. I did manage to somehow make a 1.13 wildfire knockoff with files I got from polish websites and 4870. (which actually worked fairly well, barring a few small bugs)

Definitely not. Current code is very different from that old one you are using. On the bright side, you get many many more features with latest version.
