I've been playing JA2 since 1999 and only recently (2014...) installed 1.13. Half a year ago, I started playing with real-time sneaking, and I've come across a bug (?) that is starting to irritate me.
Example: Troop is stationed at Tixa, enemy troop attacks - but the won't move from their spawning positions at the border during real time, they ONLY move in turn-based combat. Once turn-based combat ends, they stay where they are.
Ok, with real-time sneak this makes it REALLY easy to pick them off with a knife, even on INSANE difficulty. That was fun for a few days, now it sucks.
BUT: if Ira is in my troop, the enemies move in real-time for some time AFTER Ira has moved, then they stand still again.
I tried starting over, and it seemed that everything was back on specs, but after a few days this behaviour started again.
Has this ever been observed by someone else? If so, is there a solution to this problem?

Yes, I also exploited this specific behaviour (with 3 mercs: knock the enemy unconcious, strip, stab, turn away). But I considered this "well, in real life, if you're that fast, they won't notie either."
But I just discovered something interesting about my bug:
I often have a game open in strategic screen over night, but yesterday I did this while in Combat at Tixa (outside turn-based mode). Now I come back, switch to tactical screen, and the enemies MOVE... they did not do that 12 hours ago when the fight started, I had to turn permanent turn-based mode on to make them walk into the building. Can this mean there is some timekeeping problem attributed to save/load cycles or anything that goes away after a few hours?

Ok, I did some testing and I think this turns out to be far less a problem than I initially thought:
entered combat, left game in strategic screen for a few hours, entered tactical screen - et voilá, they remembered to walk again.
I just downloaded the latest unstable (8384) and will try to reproduce this "frozen enemy" effect, but I guess we can call this case closed.
