Is this normal counter attack behavior now?
And is there a way(ini option) to make them behave like they did before?(try to retake the city and nothing else)
I abandoned a playthrough the first time i noticed this because i thought i might have broken something.

I captured Chitzena and waited for the counter attack. Around 15 broke off from D3 and attacked D2 SAm site instead. The others went on their usual formation, trying to surround B2. But then some troops from C2 that are supposed to be heading to B1 broke off again to attack the SAM site. *abandoned save*

Now the same thing is happening again.
Captured Cambria.. waited.. now 52 of them attacked south of Cambria SAM site.

I've played a lot of playthroughs before, but I've only seen this behavior recently(playing SCI_Unstable_Revision_8366_on_GameDir_2357 with AFS mod)

Different groups of solders may travel together as long as their path to their individual goals are the same. When the paths diverge it looks like they split.
