Another issue with 8408 vs. the latest stable version--tunnel vision will not disable. Setting the ALLOW_TUNNEL_VISION setting in the .ini to false has no effect anymore. Is there another way to force it to disable? I'm willing to get really involved with this one if necessary, hating tunnel vision as much as I do big grin

Hmmm. Upon closer inspection, I'm not sure it's a "bug" exactly. Recreating my characters fixed the issue. I wonder if changing the setting affects new characters in addition to new campaigns?

More testing, and more frustration. The mercs randomly get tunnel vision and lose it, from one sector to the next. Is anyone else having this problem?

Edit: alright, I figured it out. It seems the ALLOW_TUNNEL_VISION setting in the .ini, even when false, does not prevent items from conferring tunnel vision. Even a helmet that gives 2% tunnel vision is enough to disable all sight beyond 90 degrees. Removing the <PercentTunnelVision> settings in Items.xml fixed it of course.
