Hi,

Couple of questions:

Why can I only store a shotgun in the shotgun holster? I expected to be able to store ammo as well sine the slots are free and not shaded out out. Or a bandolier... It says in the description at Bobby Ray's that it can hold a bandolier but when nI try to attach a bandolier to it, it doesn't let me.

How do bandoliers actually work? I can attach a bandolier to a thigh rig and then the slot looks like it becomes available (shading is removed and empty shotgun shell slot appears) but I can't store shotgun shells in it.

I've had a search but haven't been able to find any info on them.

You can store a small shotgun and ammo in the Shotgun Holster. The holster has two pockets for shotgun shells. Works fine for me.

The Shotgun Bandolier is a MOLLE pouch that should be attached to a MOLLE carrier like the Specter Thigh Rig or a TT Modular Vest for example. The bandolier can be worn on its own as well but that would be a waste of one body slot.

Maybe try a smaller "clip", shotgun shells come in 2, 4, 7 and 12 shells packages (not counting boxes or crates) if I'm not wrong, if it is some kind of small shotgun holster, it probably holds only 2 or 4 shell ones. So you probably can't store full size shotguns or larger shell "magazines" there.

Thanks I'm almost there now... I have figured out that the SG holster will only take the shells if they are in the 7 shell format; I was trying to put 4 shells in there. Likewise with the bandolier I assume although I haven't tried that yet because I don't have a savegame with one handy anymore.

So the next question is, is there any way to force the shells to come in 7s? When i drag the box over my small shotgun it creates 4 shells rather than 7. The only way I can create a 7 is if I drag a box of ammo onto a larger shotgun so if I don't have one of those on any of my mercs then I can't put any shells in my holster. I'm a 1.13 noob so I might be missing something obvious, apologies if that's the case.

ps silversurfer, I recognise your name from the changelog - great job on the 1.13 mod. It took some getting used to at first but I love it now. The new inventory system is awesome now that I've pretty much got it figured out. Keep up the good work, do you guys take donations? You definitely deserve something for your great work. thumbs up

The Shotgun Holster takes different formats of shells in different amounts. You can place three 2x shells or one 4x or 7x shell package in each pocket. It doesn't take 12x shells or drums however. At least that is the way 1.13 works. Mods may be different.

If you want to make donations give them to Flugente who has added many new features to 1.13 or Sevenfm who has done a great job at the AI. I hope some day he finds the time to implement all of those changes in the default 1.13 code. *hint* *hint*

Solved now. Admittedly I am using an older version (top result on Google took me to the old version so I installed it and spent a long time tweaking the ini etc, put a good few hours game time in only to then find a newer version by which time I couldn't face starting from scratch) so maybe mine is different to yours, but I checked the xml editor and found that pocket 1 and pocket 2 on Shotgun Holster said "7RD shotgun shells" so I edited it to just "Shotgun shells" and now it takes the 4 round.

Thanks for the tip mate, I'll go find them.
