I try to keep the energy of mercs at a high lvl so they are always fresh in case of a battle.
So if enemy troops are nearby, everyone has to go sleep if energy is below ~92%,
this gives me a reserve in case the battle lasts over the end of the hour.
This way also their task performance never goes down.

The downside is the micromanagement,
it requires to check all mercs energy % at least every 2 hours if you want to do it perfect.
(you will get a feeling for their rythm after some time, but the ocd wont allow to just decide with guts;)


So an option to adjust at least the "go to sleep" threshold would remove a big part of the imo most tedious micromanagement,
preferably individual thresholds for each merc if that is possible at all, and doable without too much effort.

Since i guess it would take more work to integrate that function into the UI,
just put it into an .ini file with option to switch it off completely (so the conservatives dont complain;)
perhaps already with roughly predefined thresholds, based on need for sleep values.

Yea i do the same, i spent a lot of time to put mercs on sleep and wake them, an option to make them sleep/wake-up automatically when energy go below X% would be cool and will save a lot of time and micromanagement.

But i will also like a option to don't permit to put mercs on sleep until few hours passed since the last time they sleep, or if their energy is more than X%,
You know if you are not tired it's not easy to get sleep...unless you use some drugs.
Just for the people that want a more realistic and harder gameplay.

And maybe we can also have a sleepyhead trait for the mercs that are able to sleep whenever they want but also their energy will sink faster than normal.
