Hello, guys!

I'm trying to mod in some weapons in Arulco Vacation for my personal use, but so far I am unable to open the Data-AV with the XML Editor that came with 1.13. Any tips?

Born, play JA2, die, reload, die again, reload again.

Actually, you saved yourself a lot of headaches because it won't open! The XML Editor has not been updated in a very long time, and if you can get it to work it will wipe out tags it doesn't understand - thereby causing all kinds of havoc.

I use Notepad++, a free source code editor. Any text editor better than Windows Notepad will do.

Oh... not sure if happy or not. Adding and editing items in with XML Editor was super easy because of the interface, and while I know my way around with Notepad++, I think it's to much work. Man, a pity so many modding stuff in JA2 hasn't been update for ages.

Bringing this topic back since I'm dealing with the same topic again. Do you have a list of all weapons in AV? Or at least all weapons you added to AV over the ones present in 1.13?

I was planing to rebalance all weapons (again). I will do it in Notepad++, but using the XML Editor for 1.13 is a great reference but, obviously, it wont help me with AV guns.
