As written above; I'd like enemies to be the same way they are in unmodded JA2 - No Ranks, names or obnoxious event taunt/feed spam.

Where in the INI do I find the option to turn those off?

Help appreciated :-)

Hi Boursk, welcome to the pit!

In the ingame preferences menu, deactivate Allow enemy taunts.
In JA2_Options.ini, take a look at INDIVIDUAL_ENEMY_NAMES, INDIVIDUAL_ENEMY_RANK
Look at Taunts_Settings.ini.

"Is there any way to get the blood to flow up the walls?"
"I don't see why not."

If you want, you can donate to me. This will not affect how and what I code, and I will not code specific features in return. I will be thankful though.

Thank you!

I am so glad to see there is an active forum for people who love the JA franchise, I've been playing for JA2 for over 15 years and I can still not get enough of it.

I don't suppose you know the default INI values for Miltia Strength?

They were literaly useless before I changed the values myself but I feel I'm just guess-timating without actually knowing the default values which I remember being comfortable with even on INSANE mode, so
evidently since the last time I played JA2 with the MOD they must've altered that, aswell as a bunch of other things from the base game.

You could unpack the files for the version you downloaded into a folder again and then compare the values of the downloaded files versus the current ones you are using. That's one way to be sure.

Now Hamous is seemingly Immortal/Invisible... He can walk up to a pack of enemies, stab one of them to death and the enemies still won't care and just keep patrolling - I assume the "Stealthy" trait is causing this???
