Hello,
Vritran wrote on Mon, 23 March 2020 21:43Hi Scheinworld,
All my stuff is permission free. Please feel free to use at your leisure.
Thank you Vritran and please keep up your excellent voicesets work! Hopefully we can hear a few of them in future JA2 v1.13 mods. Maybe if you are interested you should get in contact with Stavian who is working on a new mod called Tuscany:

Hawkeye wrote on Tue, 24 March 2020 01:12Coincidentally enough, we've already used this voice in Vengeance already, it's used for the female wardens in one of the prison maps. Though we may not have all these files, so could use some of them.
Hi Hawk, nice, I didn't be aware of that. :-) Maybe in the future we can use a full voiceset from Vritran for a new VR character?
Best regards,
Schein...

Good stuff. I have also been spending time collating new voices and speech for our mod with Vengeance having Seven's Voice Taunts feature and Anv's extended battlesounds which I think really adds to the game, I was hoping the extended battlesounds features could have made it into the regular 1.13 trunk but those I suggested it to either didn't understand my request or were not interested. I'm still on the lookout for more generic sounding voices and the taunts feature can be tricky in that we don't want instantly recognisable voices as they cover more than one soldier, and it's sometimes hard to find acccents other than American or those awful fake transatlantic voices used in a lot of Japanese games.
Yes, Arsenal was voiced by me, as was Fish and Babyface and a number of NPC's & RPC's too, see if you can 'spot' the others! Hopefully they were different enough to separate them, but I was gradually running out of accents or impressions! It's quite bizarre when hearing yourself in a game, but you know you've done a half-decent job when you can still play the game without wincing when hearing your own voice, however distorted.

I noticed the sounds for these two features. Are they controlled by xmls or part of the .exe?

I like all three but Arsenal really stood out for me. He is now in my custom AR based build. Going to be running out of profiles at this rate
Additionally, I have the pleasure to announce that Miss Velvet "VV" Velour has joined MERC. Voiceset below:

Heya, I pretty much registered to comment on this!
Do you still need the Hitman files? I did a Sean Bean voicepack for Xcom Enemy Within that pretty much covered all the games he was in except that mobile one, Papa Sangre 2. If you want 'em, they're yours!

Sorry for the late reply!
The voicepack I mentioned is for Xcom. What I was offering was Sean Bean's voicelines from Hitman 2, cause the OP mentioned they were lacking 'em.
