So when you storm/assault buildings like Orta undergrounds or other facilities, you will have enemies that are sometimes just behind doors. Even with super agile mercs being stealthy you won't get interrupt first and then enemy fucks you up. What's funny -enemy sometimes gets interrupt while having his back against you, so he don't see you! How's that possible? Anyway, is there a way to deal with such situation? Suppose you want to breach a room and don't know if there are enemies inside, or you know that there are enemies[because you've memorized their locations from previous playthroughs?] What do you do to ensure your merc won't get wasted? Im talking about 7609 build, so no ballistic shields. Use EOD suit?

You need a merc with high XP level. Making noise at a different spot also helps. Or blow up the wall with C4. EOD suit should help to survive enemy fire.
In build 7609 you don't have the option to open doors from the side or unlock them in one turn and open a turn later. Those improvements were implemented later.

As far as I remember, if you open door in turnbased, enemy will never interrupt you, the same is when you crawl behind the window and order merc to turn, so he crouches first - enemy cannot interrupt when merc is turning from prone (this was tested with IIS disabled).
Apart from that - blow up wall or roof above the enemy, use noise to distract enemy, so he turns to the noise source, use covert merc.

Thanks. Have you implemented the side opening of doors in the AI fix? Im using it but i can't open them from the side.
