I have a central sector (Cambria mine) where I always stockpile my equipment. It's perfectly situated to come repair and restock on ammo and stuff, and I place Gasket there repairing items 24/7.
It now happens the enemy attacks this sector from time to time. And during one of those attacks I clearly saw one of the militia bozos run up and pick up two expensive and precious RPG-27 Tavolgas! Fortunately he didn't use them, but he didn't give them back either.
Now I know the way to prevent militia from picking up a gun during a fight is to empty it, but that's hardly an option with RPGs, is it.
Given militia doesn't have a clue how to use RPGs, and usually just manages to kill/wound a sizeable chunk of other militia when doing so, wouldn't it be preferable to simply forbid militia to pick up RPGs of any kind? ("Magazine size = 1" would be fine as a criterion).
Yes, I know they get to have their very own RPGs (very unfortunately), and they already do enough self-damage using those, but at least they don't take them from my meager stockpile. Isn't it just great when you suddenly need the RPG you know you had put aside for an emergency, and discover militia stole it to blow up their little buddies?...

Huh? No, I didn't even know that option existed.
I've fired up "Ctrl-." many times (usually to fill up canteens), but never noticed a menu item called "Militia Inspection". I'll have to check that out, thanks.
But that's not the point anyway, as I said in the title, it's about them picking up the RPGs during combat. It's too dangerous.
In this specific case I stated the militiaman was far from the actual action, without direct line of sight to any enemy, so he didn't use them. But I've seen militia shoot an RPG from halfway across the map, with trees and fences and dozens of other militia between them and their targets. It obviously ended in massacre - for my militia...
I definitely don't want to buy RPGs so my militia can use them to kill their little buddies with! Also my mercs and IMP(s) are usually on the front lines, and liable to be obliterated by a cretin trying to shoot an RPG from behind, through fences or the line of Czech hedgehogs usually surrounding SAM sites.
Let's say I want to baby-proof the more dangerous weapons.
