Hello,
Lately I decided to play JA2 again and find that there is a new build for Windows 10. So here I am, I'm currently using build 8928 from jagged-alliance.pl website (I found the link on Depri's v1.13 Builds & Packages) When I create my IMP character, I always choose Male 3 (The one that yell "Trash!") for the voice set, but it's kinda weird hearing his voice when the heli landing scene, yelling "Mike!" it's kinda russian/eastern europe accent and there is no Mike around. I think this is a bug. Is there anyway to work around it? I also find that IMP editor don't work for this version.

When choosing the Imp-voice, the line I hear while choosing voice 3 is "Time to take out the trash!". After the Heli-scene at gamestart, i get "Talk about flying in low. I had to look up to see the squirrels. I'm sure glad to have my feet planted firmly on the ground. Now, which way to the rebel hideout?".
As far as I understand, Male 3 should be Number 53 in MercProfiles.xml, where also should be Voiceset 53 seen for this one. Neither the Text in 53.edt (merc-edt) nor the voicelines for 53 (speech) contain "Mike" in them (it has the lines I quoted above).
The additional voices for Imp (above 3) seem to be handled different (the edt starting from 300), I faintly remember to have seen a explaination by Flugente on those, but can't recal location in forum.
But anyway, male voice 3 should work. I don't know about the version from polish forum (better ask there), but I've checked with my own compile and with sevens exe and both work as intented (r8934/g2580)
My guess would be, that maybe your GameDir got messed up when trying the IMP-Editor. The old Editors (Imp, Xml-Editor, etc) can mess up the file-structure.
Try a fresh instal (look at "How-to"-link in my signature for latest version, choose either my compile or combine GameDir from SVN with sevens exe) and don't use any Editor. Most stuff can be changed directly in the xml-files nowadays.

Because I'm new here, I can't upload my screenshot yet. Maybe via PM? I have capture the mike comment thing just after landed from helicopter. BTW, I have fresh installation GOG version and applied the patch. Maybe I should try other version. Is there any recommendation which version is stable enough? Thanks for your help.

According to the screenshot you sent, you see and hear:
"That is Mike? I do not understand how he can be such a traitor."
This line belong to Barry Unger, who is supposed to be hungarian, which matches
Quote: it's kinda russian/eastern europe accent
Since you said you are using the 8928-version from the polish forum, I did testruns with this. I used my english JA2 from Steam and my german JA2 from CD and put the SCI above.
Tried all male voices for Imp, but the problem still isn't showing on my side.
Quote:I can confirm that when I played 1.13 r8918 just recently.
Did the same test with this version (my SCI), same result
---------------------
I looked up the defintions at impVoices.xml and mercprofiles.xml in my own SCI as well as the polish SCI and all seems fine.
Then I checked the files defining the subtitles (edt) and all is fine there too.
While checking the edt, I could see that line 55 in 000.edt is using the line you are seeing and 0 is Barry.
At the same line for imp-voice 3 (053.edt), it's the line used for landing scene.
---------------------
Barry's profile Index is 0. This index often seems to be treated as default whenever the game is missing information (like missing a tag in some xml, etc)
My guess about what's happening, is, that somehow a file like either mercprofiles.xml or ImpVoices.xml (in Data-113/TableData) is missing entries for "VoiceIndex" which would result in getting Barry's voice instead. And since edt-files for imp and mercs differ, line 55 is used for landing in one and seeing Mike in the other.
But since I can't reproduce this, it's a guess (based on simular problems in the past).
-----------------
I still think, something in your GameDir has been messed up.
But as far as my tests went, that's not related to the SCI you've downloaded.
Both of you are using different versions of a SCI, made by different people. At least as far as I can tell, I can't see anything wrong in those (neither the polish version nor mine)
You could check the following files in your instal:
--------------
ImpVoices.xml in Data-113/tableData should look like this for male voice 3
<VOICE>
<szVoiceSetName>Male 3</szVoiceSetName>
<voiceset>53</voiceset>
<bSex>0</bSex>
--------------------
Also in Data-113/tabledata, in mercprofiles.xml, entry 53 should start like this (voiceIndex 53)
<PROFILE>
<uiIndex>53</uiIndex>
<Type>6</Type>
<zName></zName>
<zNickname>PGmale3</zNickname>
<ubFaceIndex>53</ubFaceIndex>
<usVoiceIndex>53</usVoiceIndex>
-----------------
Also check in JA2_options.ini, if you are using the vfs-congig for 1.13 (can be checked using the Ini-Editor)
--------------
I hope this can provide any help.
