Well, I'll think about it. But the Kingpin coming to the fight sequence works if Spike is at the bar entrance, and the worse that can happen is that the player looses a day training in San Mona until finding Spike at the entrance.

So if Spike is only needed for fight sequence, then only thing you need is make sure that he will be always in that sector. So appearance value "Stay in Sector" should do just fine.

Is there any chance we might get a SME for Straciatella? (strategic map editor)
Those json files are really hostile and there is no documentation for them.

Anybody who wants to edit those json files is welcomed, there are maps to add in the S-E corner of the strategic map and a road to San Mona through E4 to do

That's not correct, if the tile was hardcoded that line would simply be
gubFact[FACT_SPIKE_AT_DOOR] = CheckNPCAt(SPIKE, 9817);
like it was in the original code. In this case, strategic-fact-params.json is the file you would have to modify.

No problem, HK-51. I was reluctant to assign stay in sector in the map editor to Spike, knowing he goes to C5 to fight there if you kill the kingpin goons during daytime. It seems stay in sector fixed the issue without any side effects.

Thanks to json editing done by The Scorpion now you can fight in the S-E part of the country that was previously unavailable.

Just testing whether I can post on this thread (I was getting a 403 forbidden message about a year ago). I was originally going to report that it worked fine up until it tried to load the D2 SAM site when I got an error saying "missing or corrupted files, game will exit now". Not sure whether it still happens, that was from a year ago!
