Hi, I have some old JA2 archived saves I thought I might return to, but at this point, I am not really sure what version of 1.13 (if even, could be just Stracciatella for all I know!) they come from. Newest 1.13 beta just says "Old version, try to update save and load it?" but crashes anyway.
Is there any way to identify the version or if they come from 1.13 or vanilla, possibly by examining the files themselves? I might try going through older releases with release date a few months before the save file creation date, but that's a lot of downloads.
FWIW, the save file header says Build 04.12.02 when viewed in a hex editor. No idea if that's any help or not...
