How do I adjust the enemy vision settings? It seems like after getting your first sniper rifle, it is enough just to sit and wait for the enemy to run towards you on outdoor maps.

Have you experimented by lowering it? I'm wondering if setting it to 10 or so would be enough to balance the game, but not make it unrealistic.
edit. I found two possible solutions to the problem: increasing the number of elites, so the AI has more snipers. The only thing is they don't seem to make good use of them in the newest release in big forest maps. The second option would be to lower sight bonuses for scopes and binoculars, any idea how to do this without modifying base sight range separately?

In case anyone else is interested, lowered the x7 and x10 scopes to follow the same formula as x2 and x4. Meaning lowered the x10 scope from 90 % vision bonus to 50 % and x7 scope lowered to 35 %. Also lowered the sun goggles bonus from 10 % to 5 % as compared to NVG the bonus was a bit too high to be realistic. The AI reacts a lot better now to original style fights that happen a bit closer, while not making sniper rifles obsolete. I missed those old exciting battles from JA: Deadly Games and JA2 when the enemy actually shoots back.
