If you mean Gus' dialog, he refers to you as Woody. Bet you didn't play DG.

"Woody" I can deal with. Its "Ham Dog" that raised my suspicions. What the hell does Ham Dog got to do with anything?

Gus' says "Hot Dog", that's true. The one who says "Ham Dog" is Stogie from UB. not quite sure what any of this means though.

I'd guess an approximate translation would be "Ffffuddle-duddle"

As the Col said YOU are Woody. Skyrider calls you Cap, Hamous calls you Bossman and Gus calls you Woody.

it's just his saying that's all like hitman calling you ace or scully calling you mate. just a saying nothing really secret about it. you're looking for something that isn't there. just like calling a friend buddy or pal. so stop looking for something that's not there, like women do.

I have a feeling it is more than just like Hitman calling you ace. Wasn't Woodrow (or something like it) the name of YOU, the organiser of the mercs in Deadly Games?

Yes, Gus appeared before every DG mission and would call you either Woody or Woodrow depending on the script.

Gus is a great merc - the great merc!
Only possible complaint is he needs more rest than the younger mercs.

I believe that "Woody" or "Woodrow" is Woodrow Wilson, the US President who entered the US into World World I "to make the world safe for democracy." This is what you are doing in Arulco and Danubia. Cheers!

Woody is a term for an erect-pecker.
One of our dialects has the word 'pikkie'(pecker) for 'pall', perhaps U.S./Canada has a similiar thing.

Sirtech simply put the "Woody" speech of Gus at DG into JA2.That's it.People need to play the older versions of JA to understand some things. At least DG.
