I need to delete some items from a sector.
Basicly drassen mine got attacked a few times and every time the enemy / my soldiers dropped some equipment when they died, unfortunatly now the items are inacessable as i cant find them anywhere on the ingame screen and i cant pick them up from sector inventory as they are greyed out, anyone know a way around this?

Someone else had posted this trick, it took me some time to figure out how to shell-to-windows, but now it works wonders for me. (e.g. starting of with caseless ammo types on day one.)
-When you play a game where you've got a stockpile of weapons in a sector, note the sector-name (for example I6-Estoni).
-Next press alt-Tab, to go to windows
-the JA2/Data/Temp directory is where the temp-files are, "i_I6"(.dat?) is the one you're after.
-copy the file into another directory, e.g. Ja2/
-rename the copy "i_I6" -> "i_A9".
In a new game after fighting the first battle and going towards A10 (Ira) you can press "Alt-Tab" again, copy the renamed-file back to the temp-directory, et voila the items should be there.
So if you were to start another game, clear out any items in Drassen-mine and copy the file. back to the other game it might work... might
-"see you point the long thingy towards 'over there' and then you pull the curved thingy under here."
