Hey, I was wondering, if I have a low Agility merc such as Gus Tarballs (65) and I'm fighting Magic (99), and they both have a gun that will probably kill the other player in 1 term such as the G11 or Barrett. Is it possible for Gus to win this (starting first) if.
1: He has level 8 and Magic 5.
or
2: They both have the same level. The question is, will a high Agility merc beat a low Agility merc if they are on the same level.

Gus would win the firefight
Magic would win the Hand-to hand combat
(plus minus the result of the roll-of-the dice)
all under the condition that it is turn based and no one of them has any cover/ crowbar/ knuckle duster stuff

gus at level 8 or 7 would almost always get the interrupt on magic
also gus uses less AP to fire the same gun as magic
at night, gus views further than magic so again he gets the turn
agility has as far as i know no influence on who gets the turn
so as long as it is a firefight, gus wins hands down
everything in terms of hth or knifing would be magic at advantage and win the duel
if both were on even level it would depend on the specific situation

Quoted by Azazel Quote:I think the best image to ilustrate that would be a duel of western gunslingers.
The young and fast une draws quickly and fires some 3 unaimed-instinctive shots at the bored veteran. He might hit.
But the old and seasoned one draws calmly, aims slowly and blows the boy's brains from the first shot if he misses... Good image, but magic hardly qualifies as a fresh green rookie, does he? At level 5 during the metavirian conflict, and part of (my) sucessful takedown of Santioni (sp?)its just criminal that magic hasn't gained any experience levels. Although, on the other hand, i'm glad because a few exp levels and he would become even more expensive.
