guys, it may seem very funny to you, but at least show some appreciation. if you really think the delay is due to anyone's lazyness, then try and make a mod, and then translate/adapt it to at least one foreign language. rest assured you'll vomit on the keyboard even while thinking about it... and i'm not mentioning the fact that all this work is purely enthusiastic, thus there's no real feedback beside yours. and the only feedback i can see now is that people start screwing around.

yes, i do have a sense of humour. no, i didnt like them jokes.

sorry to spill it all like that, but this aint the first time, things've been accumulating and it all seems very discouraging, to say the least.

Maybe a stupid question, Lupus, but have you tried to approach people from the mod squad: after all they have experience with the english exe and I'm sure some of them would be eager to help.

Braindead1, it doesn't matter which .exe it is. there are certain limitations, such as number of symbols in a text line etc.
besides, i doubt anyone on mod squad can read Russian...

Err... how's the progress? It was almost done over a month ago... I want to play this mod as soon as I can. I've lost interest in JA2 for some time, though still liked it, but whenever a good mod like Shady Job gets released, I start playing the game again. Wink

No point in playing a mod that isn't English or your native language. It's not nice to play a mod when you understand any text of it, no dialogues, you can as well forget the whole thing. I check here once in two weeks, but the translation work seems to have stopped. If we only ONLYwould get a confirmation that it's still going on or it has stopped, we could keep hoping to get our hands on Shady Job or give up hope. I'm getting pissed off already. Of course I shouldn't say this, since it is rude. But I get annoyed when I call for someone, and he doesn't answer at all. I just want one word: Yes or No.
