I'm still waiting for BulletSix to give the final go ahead for the DL-113(FSTM) which I've prepared. That mod must be BulletSix's DL-113 files, which I've incorporated some items from. Not sure if it works stand alone though...

EDIT: on re-reading one of BulletSix's last posts, I guess I've taken over the DL-113 Hybrid... (I had earlier produced a "quick and dirty" mod based on the FSTM 1.5.1.) Ok, unless I hear otherwise from BulletSix in the next week, I'll be releasing DL-113(FSTM), with his items. To give proper respect to BulletSix's work, I'll spend the next few days ensuring that his items, while in line with the other FSTM based items, will have the "extra" appeal that he intended (except for one sci-fi gun that is returning to its roots).

Somehow my latest fixes and updates have not killed savegame compatibility with when I started work on DL-1.13FS. Not even adding in all the items that BulletSix did, or the in-game fiction elements (which are also due to Bullet Six, he took the screenshots that I transcribed the text from). That being said, I haven't actually finished the game yet. Still roughly 70% complete, and no chronic unexplained crashes, if I can pull this off in UC-1.13 Hybrid, chances are good for a Christmas public release of that one too (in public Beta form).

I'm going to clean out the test install I have, and do a fresh install for final pre-public release testing of the Beta. If all goes well, it should be available for download in the next 24-48hrs.

Hey guys, trying to install Deidranna Lives for 1.13 and i have been following the installation instructions to the letter but...there is no installer in the 1.13 DL folder. Also downloaded the original DL (without 1.13) and "This application cannot run on your computer". Windows 10. I did install the GOG JA2 1.12 version and the 1.13 addition as instructed. The pdf indicates to Copy the JA2.exe from your v1.13 install to c:\DLTARGET . Would that be the classic JA2 exe, correct ? Did that too. Basically what i am missing is the next step : Launch the original Deidranna Lives! installer, and direct it to the copy of JA2.exe in
c:\DLTARGET.

And here is where i am lost. I can't find an original DL Installer in the 1.13 DL download. Please instruct, am i doing something wrong and how do i fix it ? I'll keep on trying things out, maybe i'll find it.

Put it into your 1.13 folder and if you installed 1.13 and DL-1.13 correctly, it will work.

Thank you for the attempt to help but unless i have misunderstood something, what i am missing is an installer from DL-1.13. The version i've downloaded is the 4.50 FULL. It would have been very helpful if there was a short video with the procedure .

There's nothing complex in it.
1. Install vanilla ja2, 1.12 will work fine, just don't install in system protected folders, also Ja2 is portable, so you can have as many copies of vanilla Ja2 or Ja2 with mods as you want, they all will work well.
2. Install stable 7609 release over your vanilla Ja2 (offical install is base 7435 + 7609 update, don't forget to run bat update file).
3. Unpack Deidranna Lives!-1.13 v4.50 Full 20141222.7z over your Ja2+1.13 folder (replacing files if asked), there is no installer, just use 7z unpacker program.
4. Unpack Data-DL into your already Ja2+1.13+DL-1.13 folder, again, no installers, just unpack archive.
5. Now you should have the following folders in your ja2 folder:
Data
Data-1.13
Data-DL
Data-DL113
Data-Graphics
Profiles
6. Now, since DL-1.13 archive updates your ja2.ini, all you need is run Ja2.exe (which should be 1.13 ja2.exe from 7609 1.13, not vanilla Ja2!)
You may also want to select game resolution in Ja2.ini

Sevenfm, thank you for simplifying matters, your description looks fine. I'll work on it keep you posted. The install instructions on the pdf that came with the 4.50 download, look quite complicated and also as if it's actually missing the mentioned Installer. Your way appears to be the classig drag-n-drop job, same as a lot of other mods. I have already been through steps 1 & 2, i'll work on the rest and fingers crossed happy

PS : Forgot to ask, you are instructing me to use the 1.13 JA2.exe but would it be possible to run the game from the INI.Editor ? And adjust options ?

Yes, why not, select mod, screen resolution and ja2.exe in INI Editor and launch the game.
Just make sure you edit INI options in the folder with highest VFS priority - DL-1.13 has it's own Ja2_Options.ini and CTHConstants.ini, so you should change them in Data-DL113 folder and not in Data-1.13 folder.

Disregard the PS in my above post. Of course i have to select the exe through the INI.Editor along with resolution and whatever else, took me a minute to realize it.

It appears to be working, the welcome screen is that of the JA2 1.13 but i think it's normal, worked on options for a long time.

DL-1.13 uses the same item mod as AFS, you need to ask wil473 about it probably.

Don't know if anyone will read this but i would like to get some guidance if possible. I went to where Dave the mechanic usually is and despite the fact that i get the message that my squad has noticed someone on such and such sector, there is no Dave there, or the gas station. Instead is a military outpost. Has Dave been removed in the DL mod ? Do i still get the Hummer at some other location perhaps ?
What parameters can i change and where are they located at, in order to be able to train militia in Omerta and possibly San Mona ? Haven't been there yet.
Every bit of information is appreciated.

Within 3 weeks, no one has answered my questions concerning militia training and the lack of Dave and his service station. Have i posted in the wrong part of the forum ? I am playing Deidranna Lives, the 1.13 version. Could someone, pretty please help me out here ?

Wil473 is probably the main guy to answer your questions, but he hasn't visited the pit since May. You could also try and post on the DL bug page here Deidranna Lives! -1.13 Discussions & Bug Reports if you are playing the 1.13 hybrid but again Wil oversees that page. Some others may be playing, but it's an older but fine mod and often gets people asking questions about.

Thank you Hawkeye, i was hoping that it'd be a simple setting change wether militia can be trained or not,in certain cities, same as the evolution, 0 or 1. But no big deal, it's like playing vanilla anyway.

A little problem with Angel in the San Mona Leather shop. Angel wants 950 for a STRIKE Vest but when i try to pay him, he says it's too little and demands 950. Same result when i tried to pay a 1000. However, in trying to pay 2000, as a test, he says it's too much and asks if i have exact change. How do i solve this ? Maybe checking the STRIKE Vest's price in Bobby Ray's and paying him the same price ?
