I am in Calisto and am dangerously close to going broke. I just took the airport, where should I go next? Isn't there a casino here? How about a mine (or drug plant)? I would hate to have to lose a merc or two due to lack of funding.

 The mine is IIRC two squares south, so take it and then enough sectors around Calisto to boost loyalty to 100%. With full loyalty you should get something like $8,800 a day, which should be enough for the early game.

There is also a large (by early game standards) store of cash at the casino two sectors below Atremo.

The map that is on your laptop under "files" shows the locations of casinos and banks.
