 Anyone else having problems with morale?

How do I raise it? Is it because I'm doing so many missions at night and killing milita??

use beer to raise morale but as i recall it's only for temporary, usually in 2 or 3 day your merc morale is stable again.

correct me if i'am wrong

 Just get you're people into a fight when morale slumps (an idle mind and all that). You can usually find a roving patrol right near you. Watch for one and pounce unless you're ready to attack another town in which case just do that.

The busier they are the happier.
