 Some of you might recall that in Jagged Alliance there was some bad blood between our good friends Ivan and Reuban, which usually ended with one of them bleeding (preferably Reuban).
Question is - do they share enimosity in JA2UC? Is it safe to have them both working for me, or in the same sector, or would it be better to let ivan put a bullet through Reub's head, for old times sake? (After getting that gasoline deal, of course)

 You mean Skid? The bold headed one? There was some story about him. I cannot remember. He is still in one of my teams and i should bring him somewhere, but cannot remember where.

 Nope, I mean Reuban. He's the russian guy with brown/red hair and beard and glasses, in UC you can find him right next to Skitz in the Prax Mental Hospital. Shitty stats, I'm so going to let Ivan finish his sorry a$$.

Take Skitz to Troy, to the factory in the lower right corner, and have him talk to Matt the factory manager. This is supposed to boost support in Troy, but I'm not sure since I had 100% there when I did it.

 Thanks for the tip.
I have split Reuban and Skitz. I placed Skitz at a radar to train militia. No problems at all. His leadership and wisdom is growing. His shooting is terrible but usefull.
Reuban has joined one my second team and is carrying a sniper gun to support from the second line. His shooting and other stats are going up!

 Heh. I brought both of them by helicopter to Estoni right after my A-team took the place. I tried getting reuban to make good on the gas deal he promised, but I couldn't find how to get that, so I let Ivan take him out executioner style (m249 SAW burst to the head at point blank range, har har). Ivan didn't seem ecstatic about it as he did in JA1, though he really didn't mind shooting the poor bastard's brains out (gotta love Ivan. He's Ice-cold). However, when I got back to the strategy map to get rid of Reuban, I found that Skitz had completely disappeared from my merc list! Apparently, he became stuck on the helicopter and couldn't be removed, which sucked cause it only left room for 5 people on the chopper! So I loaded a save and let Reuban live. I keep him as far away from Ivan as I can. You know, just in case. Razz

 He's referring to Bruno who's in the subway of I3 - you can get there easily through the subway entrance in I2 (was it I2? I forget. I forget again). No idea how to go to I3-surface though, crashes for me too.

 Darn, i shot Bruno last week. But he started!
Forget I3, there is no way getting in. It seems that not everyone has this problem. There are messages on the board from people who cleaned I3. But there is no solution for the people with problems. Sad

Hello there!

Admittedly, I haven't gotten very far in Urban Chaos yet. All the changes to the characters stats and weapons and everything else is still hard for me to get over. Not to mention the bi-polar civillain population. One would think I'm not welcome in their country Mad

Dr.Q's strength is 60 something, where I distinctly remember him carrying anti-aircraft cannons in other games. ; ;

I stole a peek at Proedit.

It says that "Unusually Ruthless" Reuban is buddies with Skitz, and grows to like Ivan O.O

I think that all that time in the mental hospital, plus whatever experiments they were preforming on him, changed his outlook on life, and maybe made him want to make amends with Ivan.

I could try that, but I'd have to start another new game XD. Everyone is so expensive now!

Now if only I knew where that mental hospital was.. Could anyone give me a hint?

 "O.O" indeed! Those two were at each other's throats from day 1 in the first Jagged Alliance (So much so that I'd never actually consider hiring Reuban as it would not take him too long to try and kill Ivan!). Yeah, I'm wondering what kinds of drugs they're pumping into him. MDMA?

As to the bi-polar civilians, really the civilians don't attack you, it's just other factions that are regarded as civilians (any hostiles that aren't Redshirts, like Kingpin's guards were in JA2, are considered civilians). That includes the police, the thugs, crepaton security, some dark-green-shirted army guys, and white-shirted enemy boot-camp cadets (who for some reason seem to be much more dangerous than regular enemy redshirts!).

A lot of people will tell you about the location of the mental hospital, especially people around Troy.

The Mental Hospital is where the Tixa Prison used to be (and most of the Tixa residents are still here, heheh).

I guess this explains why I had Skitz stuck in the Heli - he probably tried to leave the group when I shot his buddy, but because he was on the Heli he only disappeared (without saying anything) and his spiritual presence remained attached to the vehicle Wink
