I just started a Novice/Sci-Fi campaign to see how the bugs effect the campaign's development under the WF environment, and I'm sick of going into Chitzena at 01:30 on Day 3 and watching Len/Scope/Raven getting interrupted and blasted in half by greys with HK-53s. :bawling:

Of the JA2 editors out there that can alter a merc's inventory/appearance/stats, are there any that will work with JA2:WF? I already have the money editor, and that works fine, but I'd just like to start the game with a weapon slightly better than a dinky little MP-5A3. (IMP Male Voice #3 seems to always come with a Mini-14, but I hate that voice - too much the self-impressed loudmouth, like Lynx. :bawling:

JAPE works *sometimes*...it seems to be related to what sector you are in when you save the game. Even if it does work though, it will not show you the proper ID for weapons. This thread should help with translating the names:
