I got my JA2 [Download] from Amazon. Yeah, am a pervert but it was only $2.50 and no tax with instant delivery, so..
The game happened to be 1.12 and worked fine but when I installed 1.13 mod and tried to play JA2 1.13 vanilla I got a bunch of issues:
- first and most noticeable is ammo mismatch. I can't load .38 AP into 38 special but they gladly go into 9mm guns. regular ball .38 works as expected. Shotguns cannot use buckshot but they are happy to use .357 magazines. HP magazines become AP when loaded and ball ammo becomes HP. I looked into xml files and they seems to be fine.
- second: I cannot train militia in Drassen even though the loyalty is already 80%.
- third - dropped items and dead bodies may disappear after save/load. I found SKS, kevlar vest and colt commando on the very first night. I picked up SKS, saved, then picked up other stuff and got my squad wiped out next day and went back to this save.. Dead bodies and stuff on the ground disappeared without a trace  .
Do the symptoms look like there is an easy fix for it? I'd love to have high resolution and improved AI of the 1.13
