Adding to that, the Steam version of JA2 Wildfire comes with a "DLC" called "Jagged Alliance 2 Classic" that's actually a separate installation of vanilla JA2, which is a perfectly fine base for 1.13. It's often on sale (actually, it's on sale NOW) and usually cheaper than the other JA2 on steam, "Jagged Alliance 2 Gold".
