Hi guys. I've been reading all the posts from the white hats and its great to see some of the cool stuff you guys are working on. I really excited to try out the 1024x768 res and other updates.

My question is: Where will you be announcing your releases at? This forum? main forum? JAGalaxy website? Just want to make sure I don't miss out.

Also, what version do I need to use your patches? I have the orignal JA2 + UB. Not the Gold release; but I can get the Gold release if needed.

You don't need Gold. All you need is a copy of JA2 of whatever version. Best to have a full install. When we decide to issue a public release (for everyone who does not have a compiler) we will make sure as many people hear of it as possible. I'll post it on these forums (SF forums as well). I'll also ask Shanga to update the news.

Thanks for your patience, we're working hard to bring you a refreshed JA2. Keep in mind that the 1st release will probably be more immideately useful to mod makers than fans in general. It should pay off in the long run as more mods appear, however.
