Would it be possible for you guys to make a one off patch for English version V1.12 - JA Gold which enables a third road vehicle ... Jeep or ElDorado.

Need not be associated with a quest. It can just be found and used for no fee.

About the issue of space on merc roster. If it takes the place of a merc & can be discarded by dismissing or destroying with explosives this would be a nice solution.

Is it true code to enable these (up to 4 cars simultaneously) already exists but was disabled ?

Any method by which the necessary changes could be applied.
So far neyros has all changes as small double click patcher executable files in .RARs.
I'll send you one by mail.

Alternately we can supply the master V1.12.exe in use.

sorry about the delay... I tried this a few months back... I got the "vehicle" to insert, however I couldn't get the animation table to load for the vehicle. Sad

this of course resulted in crashes...
also had trouble inserting the vehicle in just any sector... it seems its picky... although I haven't see exactly why...

the code for inserting vehicles isn't exactly there as for the only two that are loaded are special cases... mine was based on the ice cream truck insert method which creates a soldier of by vehicle.. however I couldn't seem to locate how the animations were loaded...

if your team has looked through the code perhaps you have seen by which call soldier's animations are loaded.

Never mind neyros has it working ... 3 vehicles.

Another request for source code project.

Filter Buttons.
Under the interface map are 6 buttons but place for 7 if the unused space is used & all buttons squeezed together.

What would be usefull is a filter where user defined icons or even several types of pre defined icons could be inserted on main map after conversations with NPCs.
These icons can be anything from a building to small colored lights.

Same concept as General in Alma informing players about Orta & Skyrider informing about SAM sites.
This would be usefull for quests .... rescues, assasinations, contacts, special facilities, positions of tanks .... whatever might be featured in a mod.
