hey all. this mod looks great. i want to play it but it looks like all the links in the annoucments are unavaible... can someone provide me a link to all the things i need to the best time for UC or send them to my email... my email is demon5@blueyonder.co.uk

Baliousokay after having a go of the game. (forgot to save like i do on other games) i have to say this mod is one of the best mods i ever played for ja2. and since im crap at ja2 but like it. (only game i played that i'm crap at) so far i done all of this:
i gave the manager the claim ticket...
i got the labtop off carmen...
i recruited rosebud (thats his name right?) and gave him a crowbar...
went into the subway... teached shark and his goons a lesson (after shadow got killed from knife attacks from all sides). i was sad that shadow died i didnt even want to make a save... if shadow was going to die... i would make him die in a big fight against loads of enemies (i may want to regret that)
could any of you give me some tips or hints of what to do at start? like who to hire.

Seems like 'they' taught 'you' a lesson by killing Shadow!!
I would never have allowed that. Mind you, I would not have hired Shadow so soon anyway.
Trouble is, I can only give advice as I would play the game. Probably would not work for you.
It has been a while since I played UC, but I make sure that my IMP is the initial, best merc. The rest are support/specialist.
Hint. Maybe keep all your mercs in the confines of the passageway leading to the subway. That way, they have to come to you - in a very confined head-on attack :naughty:

I take it that you have 'secured' the available weapons from the melitia/enemy fight, and have scoured every place for stuff?

i just hire ivan and maybe another merc for now... i shall recruit rosebud again give him the crowbar and then revenge...
