Hi there, forum newbie here, so aplogies if in the wrong place!

I have had JA2 (version V1.03 (build 99.06.09)) and played and completed the game.

This was some years ago, but now my interest in this has been renewed.

A friend put me on to this forum where I note that there are 'newer' versions of the game available ie. I've seen v1.13 and 'wildfire'.

Could someone advise on whether it's advisable to upgrade (how/where from?) and what the differences between my 'old' version and these newer ones are?

Sorry if this is old ground for some of you , but any advice would be welcome.

 chris , good to hear from you , you can download 1.13 from links at this forum (check 1.13 thread Very Happy )wildfire you'll have to purchaes from amazon or another store as its an official release . any probs let us know . cheers

 but there is of course wildfire mod , only , have to have original installed first , hope ive not confused you , (think IM confused , hah !)

Just my 2 cents but Wildfire mod sucks. Has too many hard coding problems and crashes ruthlessly. My experiences with it has been nothing but bad. I guess some russian players like the realism but what it comes down too is do you want to play a game where no matter what you do at least one of your mercs will die due to inability to heal or repair armor.
