You misunderstood there, what Caboclo meant was that when an "enemy" (one the merc don't like) dies you won't hear that enemy say something.
An example would be:
Raider and Hitman in one team
Hitman dies
Raider says "Great, now I can have my wife to myself!"
This does not happen and that is what Caboclo meant, I must admit it, I miss it too.

Grizzly and Bull have a little moment when one of them dies..
I can't remember which one, but when one dies the other says something to the effect of
"don't worry, i'll look after your wife and kids".. in a compassionate way, not a seedy way.
